MASS MEETING TO-NIGHT.

Cheering of the Nine.--Band Concert in the Yard.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In anticipation of tomorrow's baseball game, the undergraduates of Harvard are expected to assemble in the Yard at 7 tonight in order to cheer the nine. A band of about 40 pieces will play from the band-stand, which will be erected for use on Class Day, and speeches will be made by Dr. E. H. Nichois '86 and B. H. Hayes '98, coaches of the team. Men who attend the meeting are particularly requested not to disturb the preparations for Class Day. To meet the expenses of the band, a blue-book for subscriptions will be placed in Leavitt & Peirce's.

Every man in the University should be present at this meeting. It must be the best and largest which has ever been held on the eve of the annual contest with Yale, because the team for which it is arranged is the result of particularly hard and conscientious work by captain, coaches and players.

The programme of the concert is as follows: 1.  2nd Connecticut March,  Reeves. 2.  Overture, "Sporting Life,"  Beyer. 3.  "Double Eagle," March,  J. Wagner. 4.  Waltz, Selected. 5.  "Hannah's Promenade,"  Ellis. 6.  "Soldiers in the Park,"  Monckton. 7.  "Our Director." 8.  "Up the Street,"  Morse.   W. BURDEN.
