Reception to new Students.

The Harvard Christian Association will hold its annual reception to new students this evening in Brook House at eight o'clock. All men entering Harvard this year are cordially invited to attend. Evening dress is not expected.

There will be short addresses by Professor J. Winthrop Platner of the History Department, Mr. C. W. Birtwell '85, formerly director of the Student Volunteer committee, Right Reverend William Lawrence '71, Bishop of Masschusetts, Mr. Edward Sturgis '90, and Rev. Dr. Alexander McKenzie, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Cambridge. The president of the Association, C. F. Shaw '01 will make a brief address. Refreshments will be served.
