The Weld and Newell Boat Clubs will each enter three crews in the Freshman fall regatta this afternoon. The crews will start at 3.30 from the Union Boat Club, and will race over a mile and a half course up stream. The officials for the race have not yet been appointed. The position of the crews at the start will be as follows, beginning at the Beacon street wall: Third Weld, Third Newell, Second Weld, Second Newell, First Weld, First Newell.

The Newell crews appear to have the advantage, as they have had more consistent coaching and fewer changes in their orders. They show more life and get their hands away more quickly than the Weld Freshmen.
