Progress on the Yard Fence.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The section of the Yard fence at the corner of Quincy street and Massachusetts avenue has been assigned to the class of '84. This leaves only four sections that have not yet been assigned, and these will probably be given out within a few weeks, as several classes have offered to help build the fence. So far sections have been assigned to the following classes: '57, '70, '73, '74, '75, '76, '77, '84, and '86.

Work on the lodge at the Massachusetts avenue entrance to the Yard is progressing rapidly. The stonework of the foundation is nearly completed and in a few days the framework of the lodge will be started. It is expected that the lodge and the entire fence, except the four unassigned sections, will be finished by Commencement.
