The Freshman baseball team was defeated by Andover yesterday in a well played game by the score of 2 to 0. Andover made both her runs in the third innings. Both teams fielded well and Hutchinson kept Andover's hits scattered except in the third inning.
The improvement shown by the Freshmen was very encouraging, and the game with the Yale freshmen on Saturday promises to be close. Andover defeated the Yale freshmen by the same score 2, to 0, but Yale made only three hits, as compared with five made by the Harvard Freshmen.
