Golf Club Plans.

The Golf Club is at present looking for new links to rent during the coming season. of the grounds already in mind there are three in Waverly and one in Lexington which have been favorably considered and there is also a possibility that the present links on the Adams estate will be put into suitable condition and re-engaged by the club. The final selection, however, will be left to the members. The chief consideration to be taken into account in the selection of links is the cost of maintenance which has been met thus far by the annual income received from about one hundred and fifty members paying $20 each. In 1897, when the Watertown links were used free of charge the membership fee was only $5.

The plans for the work of the ensuing year are not yet definitely decided, but it is probable that the usual bi-weekly tournaments will be held for which prizes will be given. The arrangements concerning the links and the year's work will be completed in time for practice in the early part of May.
