At the first Union entertainment of the year, Mr. N. W. Brigham '80 last evening gave an illustrated lecture on "The Grand Canon of Arizona." The lecture was delivered in the Living Room of the Union where a sheet had been stretched on which the views were thrown.
The views abounded in a wealth of color, showing not only a large number of scenes from the canon itself but also many portions of the neighboring country. Among the other subjects shown were the ancient cliff dwellings, petrified forests, and settlements of the Navajo and Moqui Inbians who live not far from the canon.
