The Vote for Overseers.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The committee on Education in the State Senate has come to an agreement regarding the Overseers Bill, which provides for a change in the system of electing Harvard Overseers. The bill was approved by the committee, but an amendment has been adopted whereby, although it may be accepted at any time, the act shall not become operative for three years, or until after three changes in the personnel of the Board of Overseers shall have taken place. The bill provides that the President and Fellows and Board of Overseers shall determine by themselves what degrees entitle graduates to vote for Overseers.
