The University golf championship will be held this year on the links of the Oakley Country Club, Watertown, on Friday, October 12 and subsequent days. The qualifying round will take place on Friday morning. Players must start before 1.30 p. m. All those who are prevented by recitations from playing Friday morning will be permitted to enter the Oakley open tournament on Saturday, October 13, and the scores in this tournament will count towards the qualifying round of the University tournament. The best sixteen scores will qualify. Contestants may choose their own partners. A gold medal will be awarded to the winner of the championship, and a silver medal to the runner-up. Entries should be given to A. M. Brown at the CRIMSON office not, later than October 11. Entrance fee, 50 cents.
