Hon. J. J. Myers '69, ex-Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, will speak before the University Debating Club this evening at 7.30 o'clock in the Training Table Room of the Union. His subject will be "The Value of Debating as preparation for Legislative Work." Mr. Myers will also act as critic of the debate, which is "Resolved, That the interests of the nations of the world would be best subserved by a strict maintenance of the integrity of China." In this debate W. T. Foster 1G. and W. D. Rankin '05 will support the affirmative and J. Lebowich 1L. and W. H. Davis '05 the negative. The meeting will be open to the University.
