In a well contested game, the Sophomore hockey team was defeated by the Yale sophomores Saturday afternoon on the Stadium rink by the score of 2 to 1. In the first half the game was very close. Collin made a goal for Yale in the first few minutes of play, and Eaton soon afterward shot one for Harvard. There was no further scoring until the end of the second half, when McClintock made the second goal for Yale.
The Harvard forwards out-played their opponents, but gave their own defense very little support. The Yale team played well together, especially when the puck was near their goal, where Brown made several good stops. For Harvard, Lanahan at coverpoint did the best work.
