The first game of the interclass football series will be played between the Seniors and Juniors on Soldiers Field this afternoon.
The Senior team as a whole is not experienced. None of the men played on the 1906 Freshman team and only three were on the team which was defeated by 1905 last fall. G. F. Metcalf '06 and W. G. Means '06 have aided in coaching the team.
On the Junior squad the men are somewhat more experienced than the Seniors. Hopewell filled his present position, on his Freshman team, and Jenkins has played on the University second has played on the University second eleven. Three of the men were on the eleven which defeated the Freshman last fall. The team, which has won two practice games, has been coached by W. Minot '07 and A. E. McCarty '07. As the teams are about equal in development and team play the game this afternoon should be close and exciting.
The probable line-up will be: Every Senior should be on Soldiers Field at 3.30 o'clock to cheer the team in the game with the Juniors. B. K. STEPHENSON. Every members of the Junior class is urged to be at Soldiers Field at 3.30 o'clock to cheer the team. Men are requested to remain outside of the ropes and not to interfere with the progress of the game. W. H. KELLING. H. W. NICHOLS.
