Special Track and Field Club Walk

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first invitation cross-country walk of the Track and Field Club will be held today under the direction of Mr. W. F. Garcelon '95, graduate coach of the University track team. Thirty members of the track squad have been invited, and the party will leave the Square by car for Waltham at 3.30 o'clock. From there they will walk about nine miles to the Newton Club, where dinner will be served. Return will be made by car this evening.

Club Room in Locker Building.

The executive committee of the club have secured the room in the east wing of the Locker Building, previously used by visiting teams, and are furnishing it according to the plans announced at the first of the year. Chairs, rugs, and tables have been bought, and benches are being placed about the room. Pictures of athletic teams will be hung, and a card catalogue of track athletes is being prepared. The room will probably be ready for occupancy by the end of next week.
