First Trials for Debating Teams

At the preliminary trials held last evening to select a team to debate against Yale 13 men were selected out of the 30 who entered the trial. The question last night was the same as will be debated at New Haven on March 30, "Resolved, That it would be for the best interests of New York City to own its street railway system." The Harvard team will have the choice of the negative or affirmative. The next trial will be held in Upper Dane on Friday at 7 o'clock, when each man retained last night will be given ten minutes to speak.

The men retained last night are:
