With Yale at New Haven on Saturday by Score of 7 to 2.

The University tennis team decisively defeated Yale Saturday on the courts of the Longwood Cricket Club by a score of 8 matches to 1. By winning five of the six matches in singles the University team had scored enough points to win the contest before commencing the matches in doubles, all three of which were won by Harvard.

Singles--F. J. Sulloway (H.) defeated K. H. Behr (Y.), 10-8, 6-3; B. S. Prentice (H.) defeated G. D. Stetson (Y.), 6-2, 6-1; F. F. de Rham (H.) defeated S. Porter (Y.), 6-3, 3-6, 6-1; R. N. Smither (H.) defeated G. Bodman (Y.), 6-0, 9-7; H. S. Wells (Y.), defeated W. M. Tilden (H.), 6-4, 6-3; J. I. B. Larned (H.) defeated W. K. Van Reypen (Y.), 6-4, 6-2.

Doubles--F. J. Sulloway and J. I. B. Larned (H.) defeated K. H. Behr and G. Bodman (Y.), 6-2, 8-6; B. S. Prentice and R. N. Smither (H.) defeated S. Porter and W. K. Van Reypen (Y.), 6-4, 6-1; W. M. Tilden and F. F. de Rham (H.) defeated H. S. Wells and G. D. Stetson (Y.), 6-3, 6-2.
