Association Players Begin Work

The meeting of candidates for the University association football team held last evening was attended by a fair number. Captain P. Brooks '09 outlined the fall work, which will begin with practice on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock sharp this afternoon. All men, whether experienced or not, are urged to report immediately. The work this fall, which will last about a month, will consist of practice every weekday except Saturday, and games will be arranged with Everett and Springfield. The spring schedule is as follows: March 20, Yale at New Haven; March 27, Haverford, in Cambridge; April 10, Columbia, in Cambridge; April 15, Cornell, at Ithaca.

The following men handed in their names as candidates for the team: C. Chadwick '10, J. Dino '11, R. Gardiner '09, F. R. Leland '10, D. V. Leland '10, P. Lieder '10, K. Lindsay '10, L. Moran '11, M. P. Prince '10, R. C. Staebener '11, H. Suckley '10, and W. G. Wendell '09. H. Fish '10, V. P. Kennard '09, S. Galatti '10, and P. H. Vogel '10 will probably assist the team in the spring.
