Progress on New Varsity Club

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Owing to bad weather conditions work on the construction of the new Varsity Club has been considerably impeded. It was hoped that training quarters could be established there by the latter part of the football season, but it is now evident that the contractors will hardly be able to complete their work before the middle of December.

The walls, with main partitions and girders, are almost finished and the large pipes for plumbing and steam-heating have been laid. The general outline of the inside finishings can be distinguised; but until the roof is put over, which will be in the course of a few days, this part of the work must be delayed temporarily.
