EXCITING BLAZE YESTERDAY

Three-alarm Fire at Foot of Dunster Street. -- Prompt Action Saved 26 Horses.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At 9.30 o'clock yesterday evening, a fire started from an unknown cause in the branch offices of the Bay State Fuel Company at the foot of Dunster street. The store-shed with over 30 sleighs was burned to the ground, and the stable was badly gutted, although all of the 26 horses were saved by the quick work of a number of students. After three alarms had been turned in, the fire was finally placed under control and soon burned itself out.
