HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The HARVARD CRIMSON will hold its thirty-eighth anniversary celebration in the Trophy Room of the Union this evening at 7 o'clock.
At the dinner the present board will entertain about one hundred guests, many of whom are former editors of the CRIMSON and its predecessors, the Herald and the Magenta, as well as several members of the Faculty. D. C. Nugent, Jr., '11, will act as toastmaster and will call for the following toasts:
"The Yale News."--R. A. Gibney, Yale 1911.
"The Daily Princetonian."--F. D. Halsey, Princeton 1912.
"The Cornell Sun."--J. O. Winslow, Cornell 1911.
"The College Office and the Student Council."--Acting Dean E. H. Wells '97.
"The CRIMSON--Past and Present."--Mr. R. W. Thayer '81.
"The College Man's Opportunity in Municipal Politics."--Mr. A. R. Hatton.
"The Honor System."--Professor Bliss Perry.
Before the dinner an informal reception will be held in the CRIMSON Sanctum.
