The annual meeting for the reception of students entering the University will be held in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. Dean Briggs will preside and speeches will be made by President Lowell, President-Emeritus Eliot, Major Henry Lee Higginson '55, Acting Assistant Dean Yeomans, and P. R. Wilmington '12.

It is to be hoped that all the new members of the University will attend this meeting, for by doing so they will come in closer contact with the high administrative authorities of the University. In addition they will hear Major Higginson, donor of the Union and of Soldiers Field, speak.
