WON NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP IN LACROSSE

By Defeating Cornell 4 to 2 at Ithaca, University Won Right to Meet Johns Hopkins.

The University lacrosse team won the championship of the northern division of the intercollegiate lacrosse league by defeating Cornell four to two at Ithaca, Saturday. The game was close and exciting, Cornell scoring her two goals in the first half, while the University only managed to cage one shoot. In the second period, however, the University came to the front and soon showed a decided superiority. W. Lucas '15 scored first making a difficult shot after a fine play.
