REGISTER COMPETITION TUESDAY

New Policy Permits Election of Fourteen Candidates This Year.

The competition for the board of the University Register for the classes of 1919 and 1920 will begin next Tuesday. The offices of managing editor and circulation manager are open, in addition to twelve associate editorships. In one competition for managing editor and circulation manager, preference will be given to members of the class of 1919.

A new system of competition is going to be used this year in accordance with several changes in the policy of the editorial board. The work, which will not require a large amount of time, will consist largely of gathering statistics, reading proofs, and other general preparation for the issuing of the book within a few weeks. All candidates should report to W. B. Southworth '18, 60 Mt. Auburn street, on Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock.

The publication of the Register is progressing rapidly, so that it will appear about December 1.
