The University second football team will play its first game of the season with the Dean Academy team at Franklin this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Twenty-five men will make the trip, leaving Cambridge this afternoon and returning tonight.

The game with Dean has been an annual affair for a number of years, but during the last two years the seconds have been unable to win the score two years ago being 10 to 7 for Dean, and last year a 0 to 0 tie. The second University team, however, has a stronger defence and a more diversified attack this year than it has had before so early in the season, so that they should be able to put up a fast and strong game, with good prospects for a victory in their initial contest.

The following men will make the trip: W. M. Akin '19, R. B. Brown '18, D. Campbell '17, J. Craig '19, F. B. Dean '17, C. DeRham '18, D. D. Dewart '18, E. H. Ellison '17, G. D. Flynn '19, M. H. C. Gersuinky '17, E. Ginn '18, R. Hoffman '19, L. P. Jacobs '17, N. R. Johnson '17, G. E. Leighton '17, J. W. Pennock '17, M. A. Rudman uC, J. F. Ryan uC, N. H. Seaver '17, T. A. West '18, G. C. White '18, G. L. Williams '17, C. E. Works '19, and P. Zach '19.
