SIR W. T. GRENFELL IN APPLETON.

Labrador Coast Explorer Will Hold Services.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell, M. A. '09 will conduct the regular Sunday service in Appleton Chapel tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.

Dr. Grenfell has spent more than twenty-five years on the Labrador Coast in medical, religious and social work, on behalf mainly of the large number of Newfoundland fishermen who visit that coast every year during the fishing season. The permanent establishments of his work are, part of them, on the island of Newfoundland. He was knighted by King Edward VII in 1907. He spent some months last year at the front in France in medical and religious work.

Officers of the University should enter at the north door of the Chapel and students at the south, unless accompanied by friends, when they should enter at the west door. The gallery is open to the public.

Dr. Grenfell will also conduct morning prayers in the Chapel every morning next week except Saturday at 8.45 o'clock, and will be the University preacher again on November 4.
