In a fast 20-minute scrimmage at the Charlesbank rink yesterday afternoon, the Freshman hockey team defeated the informals 3 to 1. For the greater part of the practice the 1921 representatives forced the playing near the informals' goal. Within ten minutes of the start of play, the Freshmen scored twice on difficult shots by T. C. Avery '21 and R. W. Buntin '21. D. P. Robinson '20 then caged the puck from a scrimmage in front of the Freshman goal. The last score of the practice came when J. Stubbs '20 passed the puck by the 1921 goal guard, scoring for the informal seven.

The informal forwards were able to pass the opposing defence, but their shooting was inaccurate. A. H. Bright '19 and Robinson played steady games on the offensive, while Stubbs and W. J. Louderback '20 were strong defensive players. E. L. Bigelow '21, with Avery and Buntin, carried the puck well for the Freshmen, and C. Stillman '21 and J. Holmes '21 made many stops at goal.

R. E. Gross '19 was hurt in the scrimmage yesterday afternoon and last night was taken to the Stillman Infirmary. He sustained a severe injury on the head from a hockey stick.
