Ex-Governor Samuel Walker McCall is to speak in the New Lecture Hall on April 13 at 8 o'clock in support of Herbert Hoover for President. He will talk from the non-partisan view-point, giving his reasons for favoring Hoover. This will be the first time that Mr. McCall has formally spoken in favor of the former Food Administrator. The ex-governor is one of the foremost Republicans of Massachusetts, having served in several former national conventions and in Congress for a number of years.
The Harvard Hoover League will publish an announcement concerning its position on Hoover's statement that he will run on the Republican ticket in California. This will appear in their second bulletin which is to be circulated in the University Saturday.
