Freshman Harriers Defeat Wakefield

At the close of the second meet of the season, in which the Freshman cross-country team defeated the Wakefield High School harriers on the Belmont course by the score of 25 to 33 yesterday, the team elected Hollis Keresey Thayer of Brooklyn, New York, captain.

The Crimson runners trailed closely, Patterson and Jagukawiz, the Wakefield harriers who finished first and second, but scored the next six places, forcing the High School men to take ninth, tenth, and eleventh.
