THIRD WHITING CONCERT AT 8.15

Mr. Whiting to Play Selections From Brahms, Beethoven, Debussy and Chopin

The third concert in Mr. Arthur Whiting's series of expositions of Chamber Music will be given this evening at 8.15 o'clock in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building. The concert will be open, free of charge, to officers and students of the University.

The following program will be presented by Mr. Whiting, Pianist:

Beethoven, 1770-1827--Sonata a passionate, F minor, Op. 57.

Brahms, 1833-1897--Op. 198, Intermezzo, A minor.

Intermezzo, A major, Ballade, G minor, Debussy, 1862-1918--Cloches a traversles feuilles. Danseuses de Delphes. Le vent dans la plaine. La fille auxcheveux de lin. Les collines d'Anacapri.

Chopin, 1809-1849--Etude, E major, Op. 10. Preludes: C major, E minor, A major B major. Ballade in A flat, Op. 47.
