The Giants captured the first game of the 1922 World Series yesterday by a score of 3-2. The winning tallies were made in the eighth inning when the score stood 2 to 0 in the Yankees' favor. Meusel knocked a two-bagger with three men on bases, which was closely followed by a single by Young, bringing in Frisch for the third count.
