Freshmen Capture Relay--Schoolboys Drop Only One Other First Place--Strength of Yearlings' Opponents Unexpected--Dunker Wins Shot-Put

Unexpected strength in the hurdles, 600-yard run; 1000-yard run, and high-jump gave the Huntington School track team a hard-fought victory over the Crimson 1925 runners in the meet at the Boston Y. M. C. A. yesterday afternoon, by a margin of ten points. The final score was 39-29.

The Freshman team was able to score but one first place, in addition to the relay.

45-Yard Dash.--Won by Simmons (Hun.); second, Spinney (Hun.); third, J. E. Toulmin (1925). Time, 5 2-5 s.

45-Yard Hurdles.--Won by Spinney (Hun.); second, T. R. Hull (1925); third, W. B. Thomas (1925). Time, 6 1-5 s.

1000-Yard Run.--Won by Parker (Hun.); second, R. B. Cutcheon (1925); third, A. F. Jones (1925). Time, 2 m., 29 1-5 s.

300-Yard Run.--Won by Spinney (Hun.); second, L. L. Robb (1925); third Holman (Hun.). Time 36 4-5 s.

600-Yard Run.--Won by M. Farland (Hun.); second; W. L. Chapin (1925); third, Quirk (Hun.). Time, 1 m., 22 2-5 s.

Relay (225 yards per man).--Won by Harvard (L. L. Robb, H. T. Dunker, T. R. Hull, J. S. Murphy); second, Huntington (Holman, Quirk, Spinney, M. Farland). Time 2 m., 19 2-5 s.

High-Jump.--Won by Robinson (Hun.), 5ft. 10in.; second, J. M. Greely (1925), 5ft. 8in.; third, Spinney (Hun.), 5ft. 4in.

Shot-Put--Won by H. T. Dunker (1925) 40ft. 11in.; second, Luce (Hun.), 40ft. 10in.; third, F. G. Cleveland (1925), 38ft. 6 1-2 in.
