COMPETITION FOR MANAGERSHIP OF MUSICAL CLUBS TO OPEN

Meeting for Freshmen of "Wednesday--Class Song Contest Under Way Today--Will End April 15

The competition for positions of manager and assistant manager of the Freshman musical clubs will start on Wednesday, March 29, when all candidates will report to A. W. Wright 3M. In Smith Halls Common Room at 7.30 o'clock; Mr. Wright, who sis the graduate in charge of all preparations for the Jubilee, will outline briefly the work of the competition, which will last only until the Spring vacation.

The Freshman class song competition will start today. Both words and music must be submitted to Mr. Wright, James Smith C 21, on or before Saturday, April 15. Two or three verses should be written. The words and music may be composed by one man independently or in collaboration with another man. The competition is open to all Freshmen. Further information as to the type of song desired may be obtained from the 1923 Red Book or from Mr. Wright.
