LAST DAY OF REMBRANDT EXHIBITION AT FOGG MUSEUM

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Today is the last day of the Rembrandt exhibition. During the twelve days of the exhibition it has been visited by over twenty-eight hundred people. Since it was opened two paintings have been lent by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts--one a "Portrait of an Old Man", probably Rembrandt's father, painted about 1630--and the other, "Danae", signed and dated 1652. Added interest has been given to the collection of etchings by placing in the cases additional impressions of several of the subjects for the comparison of different states and quality of impressions.
