TRACK TEAM TO COMPETE IN NEW YORK TONIGHT

Crimson Squad of 27 Men Entered in I. C. A. A. A. A. Games--Burke Expected to Star--Cornell Won Last Year--University Placed Seventh

Twenty-three members of the University and Freshman track squads will compete in the I. C. A. A. A. A. games in New York this afternoon and evening, all of whom left for the meet yesterday. This is the second indoor Intercollegiate meet since 1911, and will be held in Squadron A Armory at 3 o'clock and in the 22nd Regiment Armory at 8 o'clock.

Last year the University placed seventh among the 16 colleges which competed; Cornell won with 35 1-2 points, with Dartmouth, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Penn State, and Yale finishing in the order named, with Harvard next.

Captain Burke is the most outstanding performer on the Crimson team and it is expected that his running will help place the University among the winners.

The following men will run for the University in the meet:

60-Yard Hurdles.--Jefferson Fletcher '25, C. R. Hauers '23.

Mile Run.--J. H. Sherburne '24.

Two-Mile Run.--W. L. Chapin '25, E. G. Lund '23.

Mile Relay.--J. W. Burke '23, Vinton Chapin '23, A. H. Gordon '23, J. E. Merrill '24. Extra, J. S. Murphy Jr. '25.

Freshman Medley Relay.--R. G. Allen, W. R. Chase, F. P. Kane, J. G. McGlone.

Running Broad Jump.--J. S. Murphy '25.

High Jump.--Greeley, Malcolm Morse.

Pole Vault.--H. R. Davis '23, D. D. Reidy '23, J. O. Martindale '24.

Shot Put.--H. T. Dunker '25, C. A. C. Eastman '24.

35-Pound Weight.--H. R. Bright '24. L. K. Marshall 5E.S.
