NEW HOCKEY COACH TO BE ANNOUNCED WITHIN A WEEK

The new hockey coach for the University team will be selected within the next week according to authoritative information given to the CRIMSON yesterday.

Coach W. H. Claflin '15, who has been head coach of the hockey squad since 1920, announced at the end of last season that he would give up coaching and devote his entire time to business. Although urged to return, he has decided to abide by his original decision and will not undertake the coaching duties for another year.

Negotiations are now being made with his successor, whose name will be announced probably on next Wednesday when his selection has been definitely decided upon.
