At a dinner of the Sophomore Foreign Student Committee class officers, and foreign students last night at the Union plans were definitely made to further the work of the committee.

H. H. MacCubbin, president of the committee, explained its purpose of helping new foreigners in the college. He was followed by the principal speaker of the evening, Assistant Dean Little. Short speeches were also made by N. S. Howe, president of the class, and by a foreign student from each of the countries represented in college.

An innovation will be established this year by appointing a Freshman Foreign Student Committee immediately, and having them hold a dinner similar to this one in the spring. By advancing the annual dinner to the Freshman year it will achieve its purpose far more effectively.
