1924 Committee Takes Weather for Granted When Seniors Foregather in Yard Celebration Minus Caps and Gowns

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Everything depends on the weather, according to the Committee in charge of the Senior Celebration scheduled to take place in the Yard this evening at 8 o'clock. If the evening is rainy or too cold the 1924 party, which is being financed in part out of the meagre contributions of the Freshman Class, will be postponed,--probably until next week.

But the Committee is going ahead on the assumption that the weather will be fine, and announced last night that it, had secured B. S. Cogan, 23. and R. P. Bullard '24, Chorister of the Senior Class, to add to the entertainment by singing some of their most popular songs.

Moving pictures of the Seniors praying for money from parsimonious Freshmen on the steps of Widener will be the feature of the moving picture program which will also include several comedies.

The Committee also announced last night that it had decided not to require Seniors to wear cap and gown in order to be admitted into the enclosed part of the Yard. Instead careful watch will be kept at the entrance in order to exclude all who are not members of the class.
