DEBATERS CONSIDER PLAN OF MEETING A WESTERN COLLEGE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Next April, if plans of the Debating Council are consummated, the University will engage in its first intersectional debate. In all probability the Harvard debating team will meet the speakers of the University of Southern California on the rostrum in Los Angeles, California.

The University of Southern California invited the Harvard debaters to come west some time ago, and at a meeting of the Debating Council last night the invitation was favorably considered.

It is expected that the Debating Council will send a two-man team to Los Angeles, in compliance with the terms of the invitation. The debate will probably be held during the spring vacation, and only men on the Dean's List will be allowed to represent Harvard.
