The University fencing team will take the floor against the J. Sanford Saltus Club of New York at 3 o'clock this afternoon in Hemenway Gymnasium.

The team took two decisive wins from Bowdoin and Syracuse, just barely won over the Army 7-6, and defeated M. I. Sanford Saltus Club, which is a branch club of the French Y. M. C. A. in New York, is regarded as having one of the foremost teams in the country. It has long taken a prominent part in fencing activities along with the New York Athletic Club and the New York Fencing Club.

The University team has been built up around Captain R. H. Durham '25 and Lendon Snedeker '25, both veterans from last year's team. The mainstays of the Saltus Club team are Warren Dow and Jules Devine, both prominent in fencing circles.
