Mr. F. A. Sheldon of the Noble and Greenough School died last night at his home in Boston. His death came as a distinct shock to the School as he has been a teacher there for over ten years.
Mr. Sheldon was born in 1871. After receiving his education he took up receiving. He became head master of the Volkmann School of Boston. In 1917 this school and Noble and Greenough combined, keeping the latter's name. He has taught at Noble and Greenough's since then. He taught mathematics, general science, and chemistry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 o'clock at the Congregational Church in Dedham.
