NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The report of the first Princetonian workout for Saturday's game with the CRIMSON was received at a late hour last night. Judging from the meager laconic statements of the dispatch, optimism reigns high in the Tiger camp. The CRIMSON squad has made its already rigorous training program more intensive than ever, for reports from scouts in Nassau have told of the power and aggressiveness of the Princetonian outfit.

The telegram from the Princetonian follows:

Princeton, N. J. May 8. Princetonian held first practice today. President's daughter threw out first ball. Butch Burnham runs bases for Captain Stevens who has not yet recovered from weekend and refuses to throw in farther than second from center field. Burnham elected pitcher by rising vote. Team will draw lots for batting order tonight. Team finished practice stiff but happy. Soft ball will be in good shape for Saturday Insignia box car couchant on field of buckwheat in hoe signo vincet.

First team won practice game 22 to 0. Tough Customer Stevens would make no statement but said he was satisfied and no more practices will be held. Emphasis placed on batting type of ball expected from Jones-Bartlett combination. University Field, seating ten thousand, hired for Saturday's encounter.

Tentative lineup:
