Vermont Academy's powerful eleven downed the Freshmen yesterday by an 8 to 0 score in a game marred by fumbles. Both teams were erratic in handling the ball, particularly at the beginning of the game, when a series of fumbles by both teams led to a safety and Vermont's first score. Later they scored again on a forward pass.
Captain B. K. Wells '33 was at the game in civilian clothes, unable to play because of injuries received early in the week.
The 1933 lineup follows: l.e., Barton; l.t., Bancroft; l.g., Hageman; e., Almy; r.g., Esterly; r.t., Shurtleff; r.e., Reisner; q.b., Coburn. Cleaves; l.h.b., Woleott; r.h.b., Adams, Shea; f.b., Hardy, Thorndike.
