Harvard Phi Beta Kappa members bowed their heads in shame before their Yale brethren yesterday after the annual baseball game between the two chapters when the Eli scholars amassed 50 runs to the Crimson's two in a seven inning game at Soldiers Field.
Superior pitching gave Yale the victory with Le Gore, the Eli twirler, striking out 15 men. Poor fielding was also partly responsible for the Crimson's loss with 16 errors chalked up against the Harvard men.
Head was the catcher for Yale. For Harvard, J. A. Marcus '31 was on the mound and A. L. Kowarsky '31 was behind the bat.
