Wes Fesler's hoopsters went down to defeat on Saturday night on the short end of a 29-26 score, with the boys from Amherst adding one more trophy to their row of six consecutive victories. Captain Boys starred for the Feslermen, dropping four floor-shots and one foul in one of the closest games that the Crimson quintet has lost this season.

Amherst led by ten points half-way through the first half, but by the time the period ended, the Feslermen had evened the count at 13-13. From then on, it looked like a Crimson victory, but a last-minute rally from the Amherst team gave them the victory by three points.
