Presenting a program of Christmas music, the Harvard Glee Club will combine with the Wellesley College Choir in a joint concert at Jordan Hall, Friday evening at 8.15.
95 From Wellesley
That the Hall will ring with Christmas cheer is certain, for the group singing will number 165 voices, Harvard being represented by 70 men and the Wellesley Choir by 95 members.
Mr. G. Wallace Woodworth '24, of Harvard and Edward B. Greene of Wellesley will be the conductors.
Eight Joint Numbers
There will be eight songs sung jointly while three will be sung by Harvard alone and five by Wellesley. Among the songs that they are to sing together are French, English, and Czech carols and Two Chorsles by Hach.
The Harvard soloists are Karl E. Schevill '37 and William W. Watkins '34, and the accompanists are Irving G. Fine '37 and Leonard Bernstein '39.
