JOHNSON, MILLARD ARE ENTERED IN NCAA MEET

LIST OF MEN FOR ENGLISH MEET COMPLETE; TO SAIL JULY 5

While eleven Harvard trackmen are upholding her reputation over-seas, two of their teammates will vie with American athletes on the west coast as the nation's best cindermen gather for the N.C.A.A. meet on June 19 and 20.

Dick Johnson and Mac Millard will entrain for Berkeley later this week where they will toss the javelin and hurl the discus for the Crimson. Both men are in good shape and should bring back a few credits for the Mikkola tradition.

The lifting of exams will probably cure the lapse into which the star javelin thrower fell during the IC4A meet when he failed to do more than 190 feet, Millard may break 150 feet with the discus.

Meanwhile the choice of competitors for the Oxford-Cambridge meet has been completed. The run-offs went badly for the favorites, for Bob Playfair lost his only chance to see competition overseas by trailing Woodland of Yale in the 3000 meters at the IC4A meet, and Johnny Dorman shut out the veteran Tony Bliss for the right to run along with Brayton in the 800. Jack Scheu, who won the event at Yale, will restrict his efforts against the Britons to the 1500.

The aggregation embarks on July 5, and will arrive at England on the 12th. The meet will be on the 20th. The list of Harvard competitors, who are entered in every event except the shot, appears below:

100-meter dash--Cahners.

200-meter dash--Calvin. 400-meter run--Abell.

800-meter run--Dorman, Brayton.

1500-meter run--Scheu, Woodward.

3000-meter run--Woodard.

110-meter high hurdles--Green.

200-meter low hurdles--Green.

Broad jump--Green.

High jump--Hall.

Pole vault--Dubiel
