Film Will Depict All Social Service Activities of PBH

Raymond Dennett '36 Announces Ellsworth Grant '39 As Cameraman

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Raymond Dennett '36, Graduate Secretary of the Phillips Brooks Association, announced yesterday that a moving picture will be made soon, covering practically all phases of the Association's work.

The objects in having the picture made are twofold: to create a permanent record of the Association's extensive activities; to depict interest in phases of the Association's work in such a way as to stimulate graduate interest in social service activity.

Ellsworth S. Grant '39 is supervising the production of the cinema, while Schuyler Pardee '39 and David Agnew '39 will act as assistants. The film will be of the 16 millimeter size, and will last approximately one-half hour.

Grant said that production would start March 16. He and his assistants will try to portray as many of the various activities in the settlement houses as possible. However, the cinema will include many scenes from Phillips Brooks House itself, such as views of the work of the Foreign Students, Gradfell, Freshman, and Speakers Committees.
