Lutz Shines as Yardlings Trounce Sloppy B.U. Nine

Moore Keeps Huskies' Hits Scattered Throughout Game

With first baseman Charlie Lutz collecting three hits for an equal number of runs and playing a perfect game in the field, the Yardlings yesterday scored their fifth triumph of the season, trouncing a sloppy Boston University Freshman nine 13 to 3 at Soldiers Field.

After chalking up two runs in the initial inning and bunching their hits in the fifth frame for five tallies, the Crimson team was never in danger of defeat. Although his teammates made six misplays, Roy Moore, who pitched the entire game for the Yardlings, kept the opponents' seven hits well scattered and was aided by B.U.'s nine errors in the field.   AB  R  H  PO  A  E Curtiss, cf  4  3  1  2  1  0 Lutz, 1b  6  3  3  10  0  0 Fulton, c  4  3  1  7  0  0 MacDonald, rf  5  0  2  2  1  2 MacPherson, lf  4  1  1  2  0  0 Wood, ss  5  2  2  2  0  2 Merrill, 3b  4  0  0  0  3  1 Doran, 2b  3  1  1  3  2  1 Moore, p  4  0  1  0  2  0   39  13  12  28  9  6
