COACHES START NEW SEASON SCOUTING ARMY, PENN TEAMS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Football season ends with the Yale game as far as the members of the Crimson Varsity are concerned, but not so for Coaches Dick Harlow, Wes Fesler, Floyd Stahl, and Skip Stahley. For them the season has only started--that is, next season.

The above mentioned gridiron mentors left for Philadelphia Wednesday night to watch the Cornell-Pennsylvania Turkey Day classic because next year George Munger's Quakers appear on the Harvard schedule. The four coaches will also be on hand Saturday in Philadelphia to witness the annual Army-Navy clash to get another look at the Cadets in preparation for next fall's contest. They will return to Cambridge Sunday.

This departure en masse of the football coaches had its repercussions in basketball, because Coach Johnny Wood was the only remaining cage coach to handle all of the squads. This was caused by the fact that Wes Fesler and Skip Stahley are double job mentors, serving both in football and basketball.
