Adams succumbed to the Bellboy baseballers 9 to 6 on Soldiers Field yesterday as the Bunnies downed the Commuters 10 to 4. Hedblom, Dooring, and Kelley hit triples for Lowell strengthened on the defense by Bob White's able moundwork.
In the softball encounters of the day, Kirkland downed Dunster 10 to 8, while Elephant Stove Madey pitched a one-hitter as Eliot blanked Winthrop 6 to 0. Madey was also the big gun of the winners' attack, poling a homer and a triple in three trips to the plate. Manse Jennings also hit heavily.
The Goldcoast racquetmen netted only two matches against the Bellboys, as Evans, number one for Lowell, led his team to a 4 to 2 victory. The third match was called off because of a disagreement.
