Yardling electoral machinery starts turning over today, the first on which nomination petitions for Freshman class officers may be turned into the office of Kendric N. Marshall '21, instructor in Government, in the Union.
Deadline for petitions, which must bear the signatures of 25 Yardlings and are subject to University Hall approval, is 7 o'clock Saturday night.
If more than six nominations are made, there will be a primary election next Tuesday, with a run-off for the six highest on Thursday, March 23. If less than six are named by petition, a single election will be held on the latter date.
